Where does the believer have God’s testimony?
Westcott-Hort reads the contracted reflexive αὑτῷ and NA27 the explicit reflexive ἑαυτῷ, ‘within himself.’ Tregelles, NA28, and the Byzantine text read the ordinary pronoun αὐτῷ, which can be understood as ‘in him’ while context can still point back to the believer.
