External‘A savior, Jesus’ is supported by א, A, B, C, D, Ψ, 81, 453, 614, 945, 1175 and 1739; ‘salvation’ by P74, E, H, L and the Byzantine tradition.
Internal‘Salvation’ may have arisen by assimilation to the promise vocabulary, while ‘a savior, Jesus’ is the more concrete and slightly harder construction.
