Why this default
Therapeuō can mean serve or attend; the participle denies that God lacks or needs anything humans could supply. The default “Nor is he served by human hands as though needing anything” preserves the force of οὐδὲ ὑπὸ χειρῶν ἀνθρωπίνων θεραπεύεται προσδεόμενός τινος without silently resolving the alternatives’ distinct emphasis.
