The critical text identifies God’s mystery as Christ. RP expands the divine title with ‘and Father and of,’ producing a longer formulation.
Why this default
The shorter identification of the mystery as Christ leads because it is the compact, more difficult wording shared by the critical tradition; the expanded form clarifies the divine titles in a way scribes could readily supply.
