John says ‘a human was born into the world,’ using anthrōpos rather than specifying son or child.
Why this default
‘A human has been born into the world’ is default because anthrōpos names the human being without specifying sex and retains John’s movement ‘into the world.’ ‘Child’ is natural in a birth scene but supplies an age-category rather than translating the noun used.
