Jesus promises a reunion whose joy will not remain vulnerable to another person’s power to remove or reverse it.
Why this default
‘No one takes your joy from you’ is default because it preserves the present-tense airei and the direct object without adding ability, futurity, or hostile theft. ‘Remove’ explains the result, while ‘steal’ supplies an intention absent from the clause.
