Is Jesus’s kingdom outside the world, or not sourced from it?
Jesus distinguishes the source of his kingdom from worldly systems and supports that distinction by the absence of armed servants fighting for him.
Why this default
‘My kingdom is not from this world’ is default because ek marks source or origin, not simple location. The traditional ‘not of this world’ can be heard as absence from earthly life, while ‘does not originate’ explains the source relation but replaces kingdom with kingship.
