Why this default
‘Jesus did many other signs as well’ is default because men oun kai alla introduces the contrast completed by ‘but these have been written’ in the next verse. ‘Indeed’ makes the particles more audible, while ‘many more’ can suggest comparison in number rather than selected versus unwritten signs.
