What does Jesus call one of the Twelve?
Immediately after Peter speaks for the Twelve, Jesus sets his own choosing of them beside the fact that one—identified by the narrator as Judas—will betray him.
Why this default
‘A slanderer’ is default because diabolos is anarthrous and can characterize Judas; ‘a devil’ remains available where the conventional title is judged primary.
