What must the Son not lose?
The neuter singular pan gathers everything the Father has given into a collective whole before the resurrection promise.
Why this default
‘from all he has given me I may lose nothing’ is default because it preserves the Greek form and discourse connection most directly. ‘I should lose nothing of all that he has given me’ gives a natural equivalent, while ‘I must preserve the whole gift entrusted to me without loss’ makes the sense explicit with added interpretation.
