How fully does verse 3 identify Jesus’ body?
The witnesses preserve three transmitted forms: the bare 'body,' 'the body of Jesus,' and the fuller reverential title 'the body of the Lord Jesus.'
Why this default
“The body” is default because P75 and B support the shorter wording and “of the Lord Jesus” naturally clarifies an already obvious referent.
