When does the saying place reception?
The prayer saying connects confident request with receiving what is asked.
Why this default
‘Trust that you received them’ is default because it preserves the aorist inside the act of trusting, giving reception the force of an accomplished reality. ‘Have received’ is smoother English but softens the tense’s striking placement; ‘have been granted’ supplies a passive divine agent.
