Why preserve both Abba and its Greek explanation?

Why this default
‘Abba, Father’ is default because Mark deliberately preserves the Aramaic address and its Greek gloss; the bilingual doubling belongs to the text. ‘Father’ removes the retained Semitic voice, while ‘my Father’ supplies a possessive not written in the phrase.
