Why this default
‘Was led up by the Spirit’ is default because the passive anēchthē preserves Jesus as the one moved, explicitly names the Spirit as agent, and retains the verb’s upward direction. ‘Was brought’ keeps the passive but loses direction, while ‘was guided’ softens the force into general purposeful movement.
