What appears in heaven, and does an earthquake follow?
Westcott-Hort, Tregelles, and NA28 read ‘his covenant’ and include an earthquake. The Byzantine text reads ‘the Lord’s covenant’ and omits the earthquake. This is a stacked wording-and-phenomena fork.
Why this default
The critical profile is preferred because all three editions share ‘his covenant’ and include the earthquake, maintaining the full fivefold theophanic sequence.
