What were the purchased people made, and when do they reign?
Westcott-Hort and Tregelles read ‘a kingdom and priests’ who ‘reign’ on earth. NA28 reads the same identity with future ‘will reign.’ The Byzantine text reads ‘kings and priests’ and also uses the future.
Why this default
The Westcott-Hort/Tregelles profile retains ‘kingdom’ and the present reign together, presenting the purchased community as already participating in royal-priestly rule.
