Edited by Michael W. Holmes. The project's standardized, publicly inspectable Greek reference edition. It is not presented as retroactive proof that every existing chapter originated from one uniform printed edition.
This is an honest reference claim, not a retroactive claim that all completed work began from one uniform printed edition. Material manuscript forks remain independently documented at the reading they affect.

How does the Lamb care for the crowd?
Westcott-Hort, Tregelles, and NA28 use future verbs: the Lamb will shepherd and guide them. The Byzantine text uses present verbs: he shepherds and guides them. Both preserve the striking image of the Lamb as shepherd.
Why this default
The future forms are preferred because all three critical editions frame the Lamb’s shepherding and guidance as the promised care awaiting the multitude before the throne.
